TIPS FOR YOUR WEBSITE

1. A unique template. There are hundreds of templates that look the same that many businesses are using. At Meade Designs, your template will be created just for you and your business so you won't have to worry about other businesses having the same website template as you.

2. Pictures. Potential customers love to see the quality of your workmanship. Adding before, during and after pictures of your work will give customers confidence in your company. Pictures of you the product you use as well as links to the manufacturer gives customers the opportunity to research and understand the product you use better. Slideshows are great for adding as many pictures as you want. The reason being that a website that has many pictures on it will take a longer time to download for the potential customer. The idea is to keep potential customers on your website, but if it takes a long time to load a page, the potential customer will eventually become frustrated and leave your site and move on to someone else leaving you with no potential customer. Slideshows are compressed and take little time to load.

3. Organizations. If you are a member of any organization such as the Better Business Bureau, then it is important to put this on your website with a link to them. This shows the customer that your putting yourself out there and they can trust you by giving them the tools to do their research.

4. Who you are. Providing as much information about you and your company as well as providing pictures and/or video gives your potential customers a more personal connection with you. It also adds more authenticity and trust in you and your company.

5. How you can help. People are coming to your website for help. Listing all of your services and the ways you can help them will give them the information they are looking for. Be clear, to the point, and stay away from the technical terms that people will not understand. Keep in mind, you may know what a certain term means in your business, but others may not. If there are terms you must use for your business to describe a problem or solution, be sure to explain what the term means.

6. Contact. Providing how to get in contact with you is a must for your potential customers. Displaying your phone number and location should be displayed on every page. If someone can't find how to contact you easily, they will just become frustrated and leave your website.
